Our Master Programmes

MASTER OF ARTS IN PEACE AND HUMAN RIGHTS

The relevancy of a master of arts in Peace and Human Rights is built on the premise that peacebuilding and conflict resolution is the basis for sustainable human rights promotion and consequently this significantly contributes to the human development process. While there is a significant relationship between conflict and human rights violation, it is also true that in communities where there is peace and harmony, human development can be achieved faster leaving all the other factors constant.  The programme is offered on a two [2] year basis and on a semester basis. 

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a course designed to empower advanced skills in the area of managing and administering business organization. Our curriculum is centered on the career platforms that prepare you for a career in a specific area. You can select classes that will enhance your skills and set you on the path to becoming an expert in your field. The program offers 5 areas of specialization ranging from accounting, finance, marketing, human resource, and information systems. This is a two-year full-time program. A student must accumulate 42 credit units worth of coursework and examination during the first two semesters.

MASTER OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION

The goal of this programme is to produce competent educational managers and administrators with adequate knowledge, skills, and proficiency to meet the challenges of the dynamic education system.

Graduates of this course will gain deep knowledge in the subject area in the field of education; appreciate the challenges of professional teaching and find solutions to the prevailing challenges, and obtain favourable dispositions that will enhance efficiency in management and administration of educational systems. The programme runs on: a semester basis consisting of four semesters, each lasting 15 weeks (for the full-time students),

MASTERS OF ARTS IN MASS COMMUNICATION

The Masters of Arts in Mass Communication course offers an intensive and advanced programme of study that aims to provide students with an understanding of the current theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are essential for a career in mass communication practice with a global orientation or focus. This course will locate the study of mass communication practice within this wider context of patterns of changes and continuities, with a particular emphasis on the intercultural and global dimensions of these processes. It will prepare students to utilize traditional as well as new media platforms for mass communication practice aimed at a local and global public. Practical work is underpinned by a critical engagement with topical issues that bear on contemporary mass communication practice in an international context. The programme is offered on a two [2] year basis and on a semester basis.
