The much-anticipated return leg between Bugema University and Muteesa I Royal University in the Pepsi University Football League, originally scheduled for Monday, March 24, 2025, was unfortunately abandoned due to unforeseen circumstances. The first leg, held on March 18, 2025, ended in a 1-1 draw, setting the stage for an exciting decider.
In the initial encounter, Muteesa I Royal University took the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal from Busuulwa Akaya. Bugema University responded in the 81st minute when Nyenje Abdul headed in the equalizer from an Elakas Moses cross.
